031. Czerwony Kapturek / Little Red Riding Hood

Czyli urocza bajka na tkaninie! Na specjalne zamówienie, dla 'prawie ctely' latki :)

Poprzednia torebeczka w łódki, była prototypem, bo musiałam się najpierw zorientować jak najlepiej rozwiązać problem paska i umiejscowienia rzepów. Naszkicowałam główną część torebki i klapki na papierze i naniosłam poprawki już na tkaninie. Materiał kupiłam w kwietniu u 'Frau Tulpe' i jest to moja ukochana Kokka :) Do kompletu uszyłam portfelik na drobne, wg wzoru dostępnego na I think Sew.

Odnośnie konstrukcji torebki, użyłam materiał główny Kokka, flizelinę, jedną warstwę usztywnienia oraz materiał na poszewkę. Pasek jest z dwóch części i materiał uszyty jako poszewka 'wychodzi' z materiału głównego. Klapka obszyta jest czerwoną nitką, dla kontrastu. Do portfelika doszyłam różową gumkę - ułatwi małym łapkom wyciągnięcie go z torebki :)

Yes, a cute tale on a fabric! For a special order placed by 'almost a four-year old' :)

My previous attempt to this bag was to check where to place a velcro and handles. So I draw the body of the bag and the flap on a piece of paper and put some minor corrections already on the fabric. I bought this fabric at Frau Tulpe last April and it's my beloved Kokka :) 

To make a girly set, I also made a little coin purse (pattern by I think Sew). As for the construction of the bag, I used focus fabric, fusible interfacing, one layer of sewn-in interfacing and lining. Handles are from two fabrics, the first shorter part is from the focus fabric and the rest is made of lining. I just though that maybe it'd look nice to blend Little Red Riding Hood into the gusset. I also top stitched the flap with red thread and attached pink elastic band to the coin purse - it  should help little hands to reach for it :)
